Douglas Adam's Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy (2005)

In this episode, Michelle's dad, Bryan joins us for a discussion of the 2005 film version of the #cult #scifi phenomenon of #HitchhikersGuideToTheGalaxy, by the late #DouglasAdams, Bryan introduces us to the #audiobook series, the novels and the #BBC tv version bfore we move onto the #2005 film starring #ZooeyDeschanel, #MartinFreeman, #SamRockwell, #JohnMalkovich, #WarwickDavis, #BillNighy, #MosDef, now #YasiinBey, and the vocal talents of #AlanRickman, #HelenMirren and #StephenFry.

Through this episode we examine how far removed the movie was from Douglas Adam's work and whether or not they maintained the spirit and energy of previous incarnations. Michelle also provides us with some trivia on the film from #imdb while Wayne discusses the DVD commentary and why they went to #TelAviv to get the #Dolphin footage that opens the film. Darkest-Timeline Justin was away for this episode, but we still had #DreamboatJustin on board who can lighten the mood of any room.
