Our agenda is simple, we aim to discover, discuss, and introduce a variety of #cult, #classic, misunderstood or dismissed films that you or may not have heard of. We upload one episode a week and record from #Melbourne, #Australia.

Your hosts are Wayne, Michelle, Justin, and Darkest-Timeline Justin. Wayne is interested in the culture of film. Michelle prefers behind the scenes stories and trivia. Darkest-Timeline Justin loves superheroes, horror, and anime. Justin specializes in industrial strength awesomeness.

The links above go to facebook, twitter, email, & iTunes. You can even download episodes by holding the 'option' key, and clicking "Download this episode."

For best listening experience, use our Stitcher Radio Link. #Stitcher is a better app than iTunes in our humble opinions, and can be used on android, mac or PC seamlessly.

Galaxy Quest (1999)

In this episode Michelle’s Dad, Bryan joins us, as we follow up our #HitchikersGuideToTheGalaxy episode with a revisit to the late 90s #StarTrek satire #GalaxyQuest (1999), starring #TimAllen, #SigourneyWeaver, #AlanRickman, #SamRockwell and #TonyShalhoub.

Throughout this episode we discuss the #SciFi tropes, the opinions of #StarTrekAlumni such as #PatrickStewart, #GeorgeTakei and #WilWheaton, as well as #JJAbrams belief that this is the greatest Star Trek film he’s ever seen, and whether or not the film holds up 16 years later.

We also have a new affiliate in AllThingsFilm.co.uk and finally draw a winner for our #HungerGames prizepack.

As per usual, you can find us on itunes, stitcher or tunein radio, and you can contact us via twitter @SGSpod, email us at SGSmailbag@gmail.com, and find us on Facebook.
